If you are coming to Lakeside or Surfers Paradise between 18 and 22 September, please note that Knokke-Heist is the starting point of the World Time Trial Championships and that this will make traffic difficult for all those who want to reach the centre.
For Surfers Paradise it is best to turn off in the direction of Sluis and drive via the Hazegrasdijk to the Zwinlaan. In fact, this is the best route to take on busy days.
As far as Lakeside Paradise is concerned, it is best to drive via the E40 to the A11 and then turn off in the direction of Heist and drive west along Knokkestraat into Lakeside. This is in fact what we already recommended a few weeks ago due to the works at the Natiënlaan.
Those who still want to enter Knokke should do so on foot or by bike, because you cannot cross the course or enter it by car.
