Another podium finish for Lakeside Paradise at the BK wakeboarding!

43 Teamriders from Lakeside Paradise travelled to Oudenaarde last weekend for the Belgian Cable Wakeboard Championships. With 40% of the participants Lakeside Paradise was very well represented.

There was a difference of 40 years between the youngest and the oldest player. Vic Drooghmans from Lakeside Paradise was the youngest participant at 7 years old. The record turnout predicted an exciting competition. 102 Water fanatics competed for a place in the final on Sunday. After a long weekend and an exciting battle, the Belgian champions and podium places were distributed on Sunday evening. The biggest achievement was in the youth category, where Lakeside Paradise took 13 out of 18 podium places, 5 of which were 6 gold medals. In total, the team took 21 out of 39 medals of which 7 were gold medals.
These are the results of hard work during the weekly training sessions. This creates high expectations for the future at national AND international level.

Next year the Belgian Championships will take place at Lakeside Paradise, in 2020 they hope to get a deserved result again.
